A guiding force

“I am guided by a force greater than my desires.” Mary Burmeister

There’s so much about our life that we are not aware of and probably aren’t supposed to be. Why we’re here, what our purpose is during this lifetime. We keep asking questions but like me you may sometimes hear crickets instead of answers. I find myself holding my breath literally waiting for answers that don’t come.

My Jin Shin Jyutsu Self-Help practice is really helpful at these times. I now know that when I start questioning a lot, I’ve become disconnected from the Source energy that tethers me to all that is. I’ve stopped exhaling and letting go. I’m holding on for dear life wanting to know what’s next. That’s when I take a walk or lie down and do the Main Central, a simple 8-step Self-Help that brings me back to the Source. When I’m really connected to that energetic sunshine, I don’t feel as concerned about the outcome of my work or value of my life. I rest in the knowing that I don’t need to know. It’s more fun to just see what happens next. I also find that my intuition is more alive and I see things more clearly.

We’re all in this state of wondering right now as the world around us undergoes such significant changes. I always wonder how I can help the process. I’ve come to the conclusion that one way is to help myself through Jin Shin Jyutsu. By staying in balance I can be a better mother, neighbor, friend and citizen. I can feel more connected to the animals I serve and understand their body language and messages.  I can offer my assistance to others without expectation. I can just be. I can listen and contribute from a place in me that is greater than my personal desires.

Do you feel disconnected from yourself? Are you searching for more meaning in your life. Jin Shin Jyutsu may help you too.
